Eco-Friendly InsulationFact: Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) are released as gases from several household liquids and gases. Fact: U.S. EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) studies have found household VOC levels to consistently be 2-5 times higher than outdoor VOC pollutant levels. Fact: Insulation reduces the flow of heat between hot and cold areas; keeping heat in or sometimes keeping heat out. Fact: Soybean based construction products have gotten attention from people with allergies or who want to improve indoor air quality.
